Hebrews 4: 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.
We can understand a God who respects our strengths, and wants to use them for His glory, but it’s hard to get head around a God who sympathizes with my weaknesses, and even uses them for His glory. But Jesus does. When you are going through a deep issue and someone tells you, “I understand what you’re going through”, your reaction is “no you don’t¸ how could you?”
But our God does. He knows your situation, your heart, your mind, your weaknesses. And He gives you strength, encouragement, and wise counsel.
As Paul said in 2 Corinthians 12:10, For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
