Who Owns Your Stuff?

1 Peter 4:10   As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace

Once you realize that you don't own anything, but that God who made you and who lets you use His things, owns everything, you begin to understand that what you are given is to be used to honor and glorify Him.  How do we do that?

1 Peter 4:11 whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ.

​All that we are, all that we have, and all that we do are all for His glory.  When we live that way, He rewards us as His children.  Peter concluded this verse by praising God:

To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
