James 1:12 Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
How can we "remain steadfast under trial" when life seems so hard? It sounds simple, but the answer is not easy. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and keep living for Him. Don't trust in anything else. Realize that your only source of power and your only hope for victory over your trials is Jesus.
Of course you will fail at times. We all do. That's when we need to confess our sins, and look to Jesus once again. He will always take you back, and He has promised to always give you the strength you need.
The promised crown of life is for "those who love him." Make Jesus the greatest love of your life. Make Him the center of your life. That's how to have victory!
